We're forming a new AWS team tasked to develop and improve the platform Amazon engineers use for running their tools as they iterate on code changes. Since this is a new area, this initiative leaves ample opportunities for innovation.

You will have the opportunity to play an active role in defining both how our products will work for our customers and how they will function under the hood. The team will have a high quality bar, will live and breathe sound development practices and will iterate quickly on the product. You will be working alongside with experienced engineers, and learning opportunities will abound.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree preferable in Computer Science or related field

- Fundamentals in OO design, data structures, and algorithm design

- Experience in at least one object orientated programming language such as C++, C#, or Java

- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

Any combination of:

Golang development experience

*nix admin and development experience

Passion for software development tools and development process automation

Experience in building complex software systems, especially services

Experience with one modern dynamic programming language such as Ruby, Python, other interpreted languages

Web Development experience
