Expert Subsidiary Accounting

• University degree or higher in respective discipline or equivalent education along with solid occupational experience in the related field
• 7 years overall working experience and
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in accounting
• Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Very good knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to own area of activity and general knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on team level
• Very good knowledge of SAP Modules MM, FI,CO used in own activity and general knowledge of specific transactions/ interfaces used at department level

• Ensure in time monthly closings, quarterly closings and yearly closings
• Coaches a small team of Junior Specialists and Specialists professionals within Subsidiary Accounting
• Maintains complex (multi-discipline/x-functional) accounting processes according to defined service level agreements for allocated subsidiaries
• Verification of the primary documents
• Perform bookings for accounts payables, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash register, bank statement and analyze from economic point of view transaction specific to the team in order to obtain information needed for various analysis
• Reconciliation of the accounts from own activities and team activities
• Provide analysis and reports specific for his or her activity and team activity related with complex bookings
• Perform accurate and timely accounting analysis specific to closing activities according with local GAAP and IFRS
• Provide Reporting package preparation for the managed subsidiary(ies)
• Gives guidance to more junior colleagues or Team Lead for problem solving / issue resolution
• Solid knowledge about subsidiary accounting processes and related x-functional interfaces and interdependencies: Current Accounting of branches and JVs, Annual Financial Statements, Monthly and quarterly Reporting, Various Reporting
• Prepares and presents complex queries and non standard /ad hoc- reports upon request correctly, completely and in due time
• Prepares reports + evaluations to identify potential savings, automations or process improvements for the department / SL activities
