    Requirements

    Job description:
    Previous job site direct experience, preferred in technical positions (cost engineer, project controls, schedule);
    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, accounting or equivalent;
    At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry in a cost control or project control position;
    Must have budgeting or forecasting experience and strong knowledge of large industrial/logistic projects;
    MS Office proficiency including advanced knowledge of Excel;
    Strong knowledge of ERP experience – represents an advantage;
    Excellent verbal and written communication; Fluent in written and spoken English language.

    Responsibilities

    Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of the Budget and the Forecast for the Project in accordance with the agreed cost codes structures and with the support of the other Departments;
    Understand the corporate and project(s) specific cost procedures and carry out all work in accordance with these;
    Study and understand all relevant project documents relating to cost management;
    Work closely with all relevant project personnel in order to ensure that cost control procedures are in place;
    Assist in setting up project(s) with Computerized Cost System named MS Dynamics AX upon agreed format;
    Review cost commitment and expenditure information for all cost elements, for input to the computerized cost control and reporting system on a consistent basis and ensure that all information received is accurate and correctly put;
    Produce regular cost reports and advise management of any forecast cost overruns as soon as possible to allow corrective actions to be taken in a timely manner;
    Highlight cost areas of concern and suggest improvement ideas whenever necessary for that matter;
    Maintain comprehensive accessible registers of financial approvals, variations and change orders;
    Liaise with the Finance Department regarding monthly evaluation of all goods received and services rendered for invoice preparation and verification;
    Support the Project Manager in the decision-making process by providing analysis on the performance trends;
    Gather the daily production data from the job site, produce their compilation and integration;
    Prepare recurrent forecasts by revising the analyses of all project activities, considering both the achieved performance and the new economic targets in accordance with the updated work schedule;
    Submit and coordinate the special reports requested by the management.
