Ideal Candidate:

o Has knowledge of general accounting principles, HR and people administration, as well as of the Romanian Fiscal Code.
o Is a purpose driven person, taking pride in what they do and acting with integrity.
o Has experience of direct tax. Knowledge of other areas of tax (e.g. indirect tax) is an advantage.
o Has excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities, both in Romanian and English.
o Has minimum 3 years of experience in client work involving accounting and direct taxation.
o Demonstrates business drive, team spirit and initiative.
o Is problem-solving oriented, curious and has excellent communication skills.
o Is flexible, open to change and proactive.

Job description:

o Client accounting work for small and medium companies (A to Z projects), as well as payroll & HR admin work.
o Client tax work for large, small and medium companies (tax consultancy, maintenance of client relationships, tax projects, organization of tax process, tax audits, etc.).
o Generation of new ideas and tax solutions.
o Preparation of presentations for clients.
o Research and writing client tax advice and reviewing tax advice for clients prepared by assistants and senior assistants.
o Maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction.
o Acting as coach and mentor to other tax professionals.
