- Technical background studies, college education can be an advantage
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a production environment / construction area as Health & Safety Officer will be considered an advantage
- Applicable basic legal knowledge -health & safety & site construction specific requirements / training is a must
- 80 h H&S training as a specialist
- Training as per HG 300/2006 – construction specialist, environment protection & emergency situations can be an advantage
- ISO 18001 and 14001 internal auditor training can be advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to take over, assimilate a wide range of technical and regulatory information to keep up with the new technical and regulatory developments
- Competence in using PC and company's standard software packages

We have an exciting opportunity for an EHS Specialist to join BAT factory in Ploiesti.

Objective: coordinate all EHS related activities for factory contractors & construction site.

Main responsibilities:
- Construction Site Safety Program-in site EHS audits, corrective action plan set up & & follow up, weekly meeting with site construction EHS responsible
- EHS training - contractors site- induction contractor’s session, refreshments training sessions
- Environment & Health & Safety risk assessment contractor activities
- Factory contractors Site Safety Program-in site EHS audits, corrective action plan set up & & follow up, weekly meetings
- Legislation & BAT internal requirements review-compliance internal audits
- Contractors permits to work coordination & follow-up
- Incidents analysis in site & on construction area
