Software Development Team Leader - Webtools

Gameloft is looking for a passionate Software Engineer that will be able to lead by example a team of young developers.

The Team Leader, under the direction of the Department’s Manager, will be responsible on being hands on with issues, understanding the technology and leading teams by example. The leader will sit with the developers, as well as with the product owner(s) in order to solve issues, refactor, give directions and least but not last perform R&D with the goal to improve the team’s technology stack.

Degree in Computer Science
At least 4 years’ experience in building web-based applications
Experience with PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and NoSQL database systems
Knowledge of the technical stages and the process needed to develop enterprise applications
At least 1 year experience managing teams of 4+ programmers as well as demonstrated leadership skills
Good knowledge of well-established web frameworks ( Symfony / Angular are a plus)
Experience with Reactive Programming is a plus
Excellent communication
Very good English skills
Comfortable in an Agile development environment ( experience with SCRUM teams is a plus )
Ability to quickly integrate in a multinational team, work with remote teams
Being able to cope well with changes in the team and/or the projects

Together with the team, build new projects according to the company’s needs (design, development, deployment)
Ensure ongoing support and improvement for delivered projects
Work closely with the product owners in order to understand and implement their requests
Manage a team of developers with all the responsibilities that come with it : regular 1on1s, conflict mitigation, performance evaluations and involvement in the hiring process
