Purpose of the Role

As part of the Tech Ops team you will participate in all project implementation stages, from infrastructure designing to deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the systems that keep the infrastructure running smoothly. Your primary responsibility will include Linux system administration as main focus and Windows system administration.

Duties and Responsibilities

Xg Architect, implement and support high traffic cloud based scalable web solutions for high profile US companies

Xg Oversee planned operations and deployment activities, as well as preventive maintenance

Xg Work closely with clients to understand their mission and needs

Xg Work closely with product development teams in the design and implementation of the systems

Xg Leverage and pioneer industry best practices

Xg Handle support related production incidents observing SLAs

Xg Keep the business operational

Xg Deep understanding and appreciation for process and documentation outside of the technical aspects

Required Experience & Knowledge

Xg Senior level of experience in designing, implementing and supporting very complex server infrastructure environments

Xg Experience working with Linux-based application environments is required, as well as exposure to administration of Windows based infrastructures

Xg Experience in cloud services, preferably AWS - managing and working with AWS Cloud services as EC2, ELB, Route53, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC and SES

Xg Experience related to web servers configurations, performance optimization, high availability, load balancing and scalability

Xg Considerable knowledge and experience in implementing, providing ongoing support and maintenance for server storage environments

Advantage

Xg Familiarity working with other cloud services, preferably Azure

Xg Experience with high traffic scalable sites a big plus

Required Education & Qualifications

Xg Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant specialty

Xg Fluent English both verbal and written

Xg Any IT certification would be considered a plus
