Hardware/Firmware Design Engineer

• Experience in self-responsible circuit diagram design, building on one successfully
• Completed studies (electrical engineering or comparable)
• Experience in embedded microcontroller development
• Experience with complex system-on-chip systems, including 2D/3D graphical functions
• Experience with EMC-compliant circuit diagram and layout creation
• Experience with CAD systems (typically Cadence/Allegro/PSPICE)
• German and English
• Holistic thinking, self-organization and personal networking
• Driving license class B
• Traveling (about 15%)
• Experience with Automotive interfaces and specific design
• Experience in large-scale production
• Experience in customer communication
• Italian and/or French and/or Portuguese and/or Chinese and/or
Japanese language skills are an advantage
• Experience in EMC

• Design and realization of the hardware architecture based on customer requirements
• Development of innovative, future-oriented and cost-conscious hardware designs
• Further development of the System On Chip (SoC) strategy with customers and colleagues worldwide
• Intensive exchange of technical details with colleagues and suppliers worldwide as well as customers primarily in Germany
• Calculation, simulation and verification of digital and analog circuits
• Selection of new components
• Technical support for the layout department
• Creation / adaptation of hardware-related software
• Commissioning, characterization, thermal and EMV tests
• Create and update design descriptions
• Creating and matching test plans for electrical functionality, EMC, ESD
• Supervision of serial production worldwide
