SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, Location: Cluj-Napoca

Sales Consulting activates on the HR market since 1998, having a national coverage in several areas of expertise: recruiting and selection assessment center HR market mapping/due diligence projects, personnel leasing, payroll.

Sales Consulting has 2 fully operational branches: Cluj-Napoca (also the head-office) and Bucharest.
We are developing various projects (Recruitment, Training and Consultancy) in some of the most varied type of industries:
- AUTOMOTIVE/PRODUCTION/ENGINEERING (Specialists and Middle & Top Management positions)
- OUTSOURCING (BPO/SSC/CC)
- IT & C (C++, C#, .NET, Java, Linux etc)
- FMCG (sales & purchasing positions; all levels)
- PHARMA (all levels)

- degree in Computer Science or IT related field preferred
- strong Problem Solving and Analytic skills
- good understanding of Microsoft Windows server operating systems (2008, 2012)
- good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies
- experience of troubleshooting operating systems
- good understanding of virtual technologies, preferably VMware
- good problem-solving skills with ability to logically assess and decompose a problem
- good communication skills, ability to listen, understand and present clear solutions to problems at a level appropriate to the customer’s knowledge and experience
- understanding of task prioritization management

- responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for all servers and systems in the designated site and implementing systems security and policies
- responsible for supporting all facets of server administration (logins, passwords etc.) backups and restores
- providing general system administration support for the VMware ESX virtual servers including diagnosis, optimization, documentation, security
- providing general system administration support, including diagnosis, optimization, documentation, security for Physical and Virtual Windows2008/2012 servers
- providing, maintaining and managing all system storage, backups and restoration of system files, file systems, directories
- monitoring storage and backup systems for efficiency and utilization
- responsible for supporting all facets of server administration (logins, passwords etc.) backups and restores
- providing end-user support as the backup of the Desktop Administrator
- providing on-call support on a periodic basis
- working with external suppliers and contractors
