    Requirements

    • Electrical Engineering degree with experienced in electronic design
    • Electronics / electrical engineering with analogue and digital HW
    • Knowledge in microprocessors, network interface, power supplies, analogue/digital systems, ASIC and FPGA devices
    • Familiarity with SPICE simulation techniques.
    • Knowledge and experience of EMC & LV directives.
    • Knowledge of EN54 and ISO13485 regulations
    • Appreciation of embedded software.
    • Software development experience would be useful though not essential.
    • Good communication skills, verbal and written, both internally and externally.
    • Creative in approach and able to work inside company guidelines.
    • Self-motivated and able to perform under pressure. Able to meet tight timescales demanded by customers.
    • Ability to thrive on taking responsibility and ownership of activities.
    • Fully conversant with modern hardware development techniques and used to working in an ISO9000 quality environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform electronic designs / redesigns
    • Carry out Simulation analysis
    • Carry out tests on prototypes to verify the specifications are met.
    • Component selection
    • Support manufacturing by approving ECR ECO.
    • Create/modify design documents according to the development process
    • Taking over technical responsibility for a project or parts of a project
    • Provides troubleshooting, maintenance, support, and corrective actions for existing hardware products
    • Taking over responsibility/ownership for products during the product’s lifecycle.

    Other info

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in developing electronic products in a team environment.
    • Knowledge of the complete development life cycle, from requirements through to implementation and test.
