Level of education: Commercial education with marketing and communications focus (preferably Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications)
Working experience: 3 years marketing experience
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified chartered marketer with sales orientation
- Solid knowledge of best-in-class marketing and communication tools and processes
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to prioritize a sizeable workload in a fast-paced environment
- Goal oriented personality and proactive
- Global and network thinking
Special knowledge:
- Very good knowledge in written native language (expression, wording, grammar, orthography)
- Good English skills
Duties of the Marketing & PR Specialist include:
• Set-up yearly marketing activity plan aligned with marketing budget instructions
• Planning and overseeing the local marketing budget
• Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives (“roll-out-function”)
• Planning and execution and of all marketing activities as well as monitoring and report on effectiveness of marketing & communications activities
- CI/CD: ensuring compliance with brand management and corporate identity guidelines
- Direct Marketing: preparing, coordinating and implementing (online and print) marketing campaigns with sales focus
- Translation/Proof reading: (organization of) translation of any marketing tools to local language as well as proof-reading
- Event management: establishment of event concept, self-contained organization and execution of customer events, fairs or exhibitions
- Advertising: Set-up media plan for print and online advertising
- PR: coordinate local PR activities, maintain pro-actively PR contacts to trade & daily press, managing distribution of press releases incl. monitoring media publications
- Website: pro-active Content Management of website in local language
- Social Media: Act as a pro-active editor for social media activities
- Sponsoring: Establish cooperation possibilities with chamber of commerce, universities etc.
- Merchandizing: coordination and ordering of company’s merchandize items.
