Job overview:

Being a Python Developer, you will be involved in the automation of processes and system management in the Cegeka Datacenters. You will develop web applications and smaller standalone scripts in an existing team of 5 developers. You will help and coach the more junior members of the team and assist in the quality assurance and testing of the delivered software. You will play an important role in the functional analysis of the software that will be created. The delivered software is often highly technical of nature and will mostly be used internally by our colleague engineers. The team operates in a SCRUM and Agile Development context.

Profile

• Minimum 3 years of development experience using the Python programming language
• Minimum 3 years of development experience using the Django web application framework
• Minimum 3 years of development experience using Javascript (preferably jQuery), HTML and CSS (preferably Bootstrap framework)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux operating systems (all of our software and development runs on Linux)
• Thorough knowledge of REST API

• Communication and time management skills with the ability to track and ensure the success of multiple simultaneous projects
