For our business partner, one of the leading service providers for commercial mobility in Europe, we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer.

The platform team operates the Azure Cloud infrastructure and supports the product teams in developing customer-centric digital solutions and services. They also provide an up-to-date tech stack and expert knowledge in an open and agile environment to enable personal growth and further development.

In this role, you will be joining the Platform and Cloud Infrastructure Team, tearing down borders between teams and spreading know-how across the whole department, leading the way towards a cloud-first mindset, driven by open communication and agile values.


Your expertise:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 5+ years of work experience with cloud.
Profound knowledge of operating cloud environments (preferably Azure).
Well-founded experience in Infrastructure as Code technologies like Terraform and/or Ansible.
Know how about monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
Knowledge of container orchestration like Azure Kubernetes Service.
Additional experience in the conception and operation of IAM solutions (e.g., Keycloak, Azure AD).
Open-minded, solution-driven driven, and passionate about agile methodology and mindset.
Familiarity with data integration systems, especially Kafka - Nice to have.

You will work as part of the Platform and Cloud Infrastructure Team with members from Romania and Germany to design, operate, and develop the scalable Azure Cloud Infrastructure and to help all the cross-functional product teams in providing best-in-class developer solutions.
You will work closely in an agile environment with the team on operating cloud-based services based on modern container and PaaS technologies as well as on the integration of new technologies and products into the cloud infrastructure.
Provide and maintain the cloud resources as Infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
Maintain and improve monitoring and alerting concepts with Grafana / Prometheus / Loki.
Manage the Azure Kubernetes Service as well as the CI/CD-Toolchain in Azure DevOps.
Strengthen the exchange between product teams and platform teams and engage proactively in the DevOps/Cloud Community.
Consult and share know-how with the product teams in defining requirements and improvements.
