Business Controller

As a Business Controller at Siemens Energy Grid Technologies Eastern Europe, you will oversee financial performance coordination and optimization by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing key support on Controlling related matters.

Your daily tasks involve collaborating with the local Romanian Grid Technology Finance team and some colleagues across our countries and you will work closely with the Head of Finance for Grid Technology Service and Sales Eastern Europe. Your responsibilities include delivering financial guidance, developing budgets, conducting forecasts, and performing financial analysis to aid business decisions. You will also actively contribute to the automation/optimization of controlling processes in Grid Technology Eastern Europe.

• Support of the finance team of Grid Technology Eastern Europe
• Provide support with several reporting topics
• Support in monthly forecasting
• Support in Cost Center Controlling topics
• Data collection and processing
• Analyzing and creating reports and Dashboards (SAC, several Dash tools??�.)
• Creation of presentations and reports
• Collaboration in general controlling activities such as forecasting, planning etc
• Checking figures and comments of plausibility
• Inputs in SAP and various controlling tools
• Ensure high quality & in time closing and accurate Forecasts
• Independently perform critical analysis of Actuals and Forecast data in alignment with Grid Technology Eastern Europe Finance Management
• Drive measurements to increase transparency and implement ???Preventive action??� activities
• Drive automatization / optimization of Free Cash Flow and Asset Management process and other topics

• A positive attitude and humor to strengthen our trustful collaboration within our team is key!
• A Bachelor�s or Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance / Accounting or a related field (minimum 3-5 years experience)
• High affinity for digital tools
• Experience in SAP and other financial systems
• Experience in Controlling tools as Smart reporting, BA Dash etc.
• Alteryx, Jedox etc. and advanced Excel knowledge is highly appreciated
• Intercultural sensitivity as well as team spirit
• Strong understanding of business and its impacts
• Ability to analyze and visualize complex Financial Data for several internal Stakeholders
• Close collaboration with the colleagues across the countries in Eastern Europe ??? standalone preparation of facts and figures for management
• English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment
