Senior Software Engineer

5+ years of relevant work experience
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
Solid experience working with backend programming languages such as Java or Python;
Advanced knowledge of relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot for Java and Django for Python;
-Good understanding of Software Design Patterns;
-Expertise in working with database systems and SQL/ORM technologies but also Hadoop/Hive/MongoDB big data technologies;
-Experience in developing cloud native applications, microservices based architectures but also with monolithic applications;
-Ability to write clean and efficient code supported by test-driven development (TDD) practices;
-Experience with software development tools (advanced IDEs);
-Experience with Git/Bitbucket and software development tools - Jira / GitHub;
-Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues;

-Design and develop robust and efficient software systems;
-Write clean, high quality, high performance, maintainable code;
-Ensure code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD);
-Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements;
-Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and deliver optimized software solutions;
-Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications.
