System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer in a cross-functional team and in an international and intercultural environment.

Your new responsibilities:

• Lead requirements engineering across project team members;
• Breakdown of system requirements to discipline level such as mechanical, electronic or software engineering;
• Technical exchange with customer for alignment and check compliance of requirement including the understanding and challenging customer system;
• Tool based management of product requirements;
• Build-up and document product and application-know.

In this function you act in close cooperation with the customer project manager, take over specific project management tasks or act as substitute of the project manager.

Your qualifications:

• Academic degree of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Sciences or comparable;
• Long term professional experience in the automotive product development or sensor development incl. introduction of product to serial production;
• Several years professional experience in exhaust aftertreatment;
• Basic knowledge of exhaust gas sensors;
• Basic knowledge of requirement engineering tools like IMS, DOORS, Polarion or comparable;
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Business fluent German and English language skills;
• Transparent proactive communication skills and the ability to analyse complex issues in a structured manner;
• Passion and willingness to learn continuously, self-driven analytical thinking as well as persuasiveness;
• Intercultural experience with different stakeholders.
