Market Data Software Developer

Required:
• 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Python and SQL
• Strong academic track record with degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
• Understanding fundamental design principles and has skill writing clean, readable, smartly commented code
• Desire to work with and gain in depth knowledge of finance and risk management
• Team oriented, self-motivated, quick learner, and demonstrated ability for learning new technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Romanian
• Legal authorization to work in Romania
• Experience with Git

Primary day-to-day responsibilities include the following:
• Develop and maintain market data infrastructure and systems
• Write and maintain Python scripts and SQL queries to process and analyze large volumes of market data
• Optimize existing code to improve performance and scalability
• Design and develop efficient SQL queries to extract, transform and load (ETL) market data into SQL Server
• Collaborate with front office investment professionals to understand their data needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Build infrastructure, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate market data insights to analysts, traders, portfolio managers,
and other stakeholders
