    Requirements

    The HR Manager will play a key role in providing guidance to managers and employees, developing and upholding best practice policies and procedures, and assisting the HR Business Partner in ensuring that our client establishes the appropriate people infrastructure and conducive environment to drive business success. This position also entails ensuring our client maintains compliance with regulatory frameworks governing personnel documentation, including laws, internal procedures, and policies.
    Additionally, the HR Manager will oversee office management responsibilities for the Bucharest office.

    Knowledge/experience:

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
    Demonstrable HR experience at the advisor/manager level
    Strong Generalist background
    Local employment law experience
    Advanced MS Office skills especially within Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
    Knowledge of health and safety within an office environment
    English is a must

    Responsibilities

    Main duties/responsibilities:

    Support and advise managers on terms and conditions of employment, policies and procedures including absence management, flexible working, maternity, grievance and disciplinary.
    To oversee and coordinate the day to day running of the recruitment process including advertising and selection process.
    To develop policies and procedures in line with legislation locally, terms and conditions and best practice across the EMEA region.
    Write and present information briefings on a range of HR related topics.
    Contributing to continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
    Advising Managers on employee development and supporting employees with the learning and development options available to them.
    To be the lead on strategic projects from the regions HR objectives
    Be responsible for the administration and upkeep of the HR IT system, People HR and provide information to Managers as requested.
    Manage the monthly payroll for the office with an external provider and provide the relevant reports to finance.
    Supports pay and grading review and manages the pay and by grading system. Duties to include:
    - Ensure up to date and complete bank of job descriptions / person specifications is maintained post the pay and grading review.
    - Support the annual pay review process.
    Support and engage with the teams to encourage the culture and values within the office.

    Responsible for the office management:
    Be the point person for maintenance, supplies, equipment, bills
    Create and maintain office policies as necessary
    Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented and up to date
    Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
    Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease
    Maintain a safe, secure and pleasant work environment
