Finance Business Manager

A Snapshot of your Day

As a Finance Business Manager you will serve as a trusted partner in the Country Romania & Moldova. In this role, you will be responsible for all Finance and Business Administration related matters for the country Romania (including Moldova) while leading activities related to P&L and B/S responsibility, financial transparency, forecasting, governance, risk management and internal control systems.

Your role offers great development opportunities, as you will get responsibility as a commercial key player and Management visibility in the region. The role covers the whole Grid Technology business which is separated in 3 Execution Units (BU) like Products, Service and Grid Solution.

A close alignment with the team members as also the heads of the Execution Units is of great importance as well as leading the people in the local Finance organization of the respective business as the In-company Manager and functional daily operations.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Act as a strategic partner in the Country, across the Business Unit with the key leadership stakeholders
• Collect and prepare data to analyze the reginal i��nancial value i�?ows, matrix of interface between the communicating departments (sales, execution, management, technical, finance)
• Strong business processes understanding and implementation (bid, sales, execution, market, people etc.)
• Cost & Profit Center responsibility for the Grid Technology business in Romania.
• Preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts, in collaboration with your colleagues from the team in the region and in alignment with the Sales Area Leads.
• Prepare internal reports to regional and global management, comment on the development of key figures, as well as analyze the influencing factors and effects of deviations from the plan or forecast.
• Collaboration with corporate business partners in a multi-matrix global organization (HR, TAX, AC, Legal, etc.) for effective commercial business management;
• Customer and supplier contracts evaluation and negotiation;
• Coordinate the Audit (internal / external) for the respective business, with regards to financial processes and transactions;
• Support monthly/quarterly closing activity in the region, according to local and IFRS standards (Orders, Revenue, Margin, Accounts Receivables, Provisions etc).
• Develop and implement processes to improve the quality of the i��nancial operations.

What You Bring

• University degree in the i��eld of Finance, or similar education.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Finance or Controlling.
• Team Management experience, coordinating of a financial Team
• Profound understanding of business financial processes and related systems.
• Sound knowledge of Excel, SAP, and ideally Tableau, Focus+, and DASH tools.
• Ideally, experience in the digitization of controlling processes and initial experience in the use of digitization tools (e.g.: Alteryx).
• Business i�?uent in English.
• High experience in closing and forecasting activities.
• High analytic skills in financial KPIs.
• A networker who can score points with strong communication skills and good time management.
• Pronounced ability to work in a team and the joy of being able to make a difference together.
