    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As the Competency Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, assessment, and optimization of the skills and competencies of employees within the control and protection department. You will play a key role in designing and implementing strategies to identify skill gaps, support developing training programs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. This role will support the upskilling and reskilling of our global workforce in line with the Energy transition.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    • Develop and implement a competency management framework aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Put in place a method to identify skill gaps and training needs through competency assessments, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Support the team leads to create individual development plans for employees.
    • Follow up on competency development of the organization.
    • Maintain accurate records of employees' trainings activities and certifications.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to competency management.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on competency management processes and tools.
    • Support our training manager to coordinate the creation of technical trainings within the control and protection department.
    • Create awareness to various groups in the organization on needs for training creation or adaptation based on your competency analysis.

    What You Bring

    • The foundation of your success is a master's degree and several years' relevant work experience in competency management.
    • Sophisticated knowledge in competency Management and a proven track record of driving competency management with business collaborators in an industrial environment.
    • Strong understanding of competency frameworks, assessment methodologies, and training program design.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
    • You create an open and collaborative environment in which all team members feel they can chip in and share lessons learned and standard processes.
    • Fluent English, German is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally.
