As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platform.

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in Microsoft Azure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions to support our SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Development, and Quality Assurance to optimize our systems for performance, reliability, and scalability. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, automation, monitoring, and incident response practices.

Your tasks will include:

• Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure to support our SaaS platform
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems through automation, optimization, and best practices
• Monitoring and Alerting: Develop comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact our customers. Utilize Azure monitoring tools and third-party solutions to ensure system health and performance
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Lead incident response efforts during critical outages or performance degradations. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact to customers
• Automation and Orchestration: Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline repetitive tasks, improve operational efficiency, and enable self-healing capabilities within the infrastructure
• Capacity Planning and Scaling: Perform capacity planning activities to forecast resource requirements and ensure adequate capacity to support current and future growth. Implement scaling strategies to dynamically adjust resources based on demand
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards within the Azure environment. Work closely with the security team to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and ensure data protection
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to promote continuous learning and improvement

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and solutions, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps, and Azure Security Center
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Will be an advantage:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate
