Software DevOps Engineer - AppRisk Inventory team (Typescript, Node.js)

- 3+ years' experience with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript, and the desire to work across other languages as needed such as Go
- Proficiency in developing distributed applications
- Experience with development tooling like CI/CD tools
- Experience running and operating software on Kubernetes
- Experience working with a variety of cloud providers (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Helm and Terraform

- Helping build ASPM platforms by actively supporting developers (DevEx) and hands on development
- Providing and taking ownership over state of the art monitoring, alert and observability
- Designing, developing and maintaining scalable infrastructure for big-data applications
- Pair-programming to collaboratively improve the services that power Snyk
- Improve CI/CD
- Practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD) for Infrastructure
- Raising the bar on Production Readiness, Incident response and analysis, and working with R&D teams to meet this bar
- Participating in our on-call rotation (compensated)
- Acting as a DevOps focal point for a DevOps-oriented engineering team
