Procurement Buyer with German (2 years period - maternity cover)

Currently, we are looking for a Procurement Buyer who will be supporting the factory in Germany.

Execute daily P2P activities and be the key person to drive procurement support activities forward. You will resolve the issues from Procurement clerk and proactively connect with procurement managers to close loop of procurement, deliveries, and fulfilment. You will participate the procurement optimization projects to drive team targets. You are expected to handle multiple priorities which requires considerable coordination and follow up.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Min. 1 year of experience in Procurement
German in both oral and written
English in both oral and written
SAP experience

Detail oriented and expertise in administrative processes and system
Good learning ability to quick catch-up new things
Some experience in buying, especially in direct procurement, likely in manufacturing area
Procurement administrative work understanding
Highly organized way of working with having parallel activities

Monitor the purchasing orders in system and make sure the deliverables on time
Solving PRs with missing data to convert them to PO within 48 hours
Prepare reports by extracting data from system, analysing them for own purchase group and take actions based on outcome to assure KPIs
Support procurement managers for optimization projects and simplifying processes
Invoice resolution to assure payments on time to suppliers and improving process to avoid same issues in future
Interacts with suppliers and internal stakeholders for order fulfilment including regular emails exchange with suppliers, calls in case of escalations, missing PO confirmations and other activities.
Manage Kanban process
Arrange meetings for internal stakeholder alignments (e.g., with planning, quality, strategic sourcing, finance)
