They’re some of our best and brightest problem solvers, deployed to the front-lines to deliver rock star solutions 🤘 We’re looking for an experienced Data Governance Analyst who can help us in setting, delivering, and embedding Revolut’s data governance framework that allows the supervised institution to identify, manage, monitor, and report risks. What you’ll be doing

• Developing data-related policies to maintain compliance with necessary regulation and guidance (MiFID, BCBS, GDPR, BCBS239)
• Overseeing proper implementation of the data governance framework across the organisation
• Ensuring the evaluation and monitoring of data quality, issuing policies and guidelines on data quality management, and participating in relevant change management processes
• Supporting Risk management and other departments in reporting on data quality metrics
• Establishing metrics to monitor data governance adoption and adherence to data governance policies and procedures within each domain, tracking key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and governance within financial or IT services, or a consultancy serving those industries
• An impressive background/education in a quantitative discipline
• Great skills with Python, SQL, or other programming languages
• Solid knowledge and understanding of data governance principles, concepts, and best practices
• Expertise in developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and data governance tools/technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities

• Privacy and data protection qualifications
• Experience working on regulatory investigations and dealing with breach investigations
• Experience in compliance risk management within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator
