Site Manager (Warehouse & Transport services)

SITE MANAGER Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage LOCATION: Cluj THE COMPANY: Our client is is one of the leading companies in the segment of textile management. The company currently serves about 200,000 companies from more than 47 locations Europe-wide and dresses their employees with suitable and protective workwear, supplies wipers, oil-trapping and dust-control mats or clean operations, helps to maintain hygienic washrooms and offers high-quality products for occupational safety as well as technical equipment. THE ROLE: To support our client’s expansion plans for Romania, we are looking for a Site Manager who will oversee all operations at our Romanian site, leading the warehouse and transport teams towards operational efficiency and excellence in service. You'll manage a green field warehouse logistics project, oversee transportation systems, and spearhead our client’s growth in Romania. Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage the Romanian site's operations with full coordination of green field warehouse logistics project.
• Supervise and lead the site's team, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and service excellence.
• Implement strategies to optimize operational processes in the warehouse and transportation.
• Relationship with the customers
• P&L responsibility
• Overall responsibility for stock control and record keeping
• Planning and development of warehouse and transportation system processes
• Full supervision of material movements
• Management of complaints
• Preparation and management of annual and mid-year inventory
• Ensuring the supervision of the equipment used in the warehouse.
• Compliance and enforcement of health, safety and fire safety requirements

• Possess a higher education degree.
• Demonstrable professional experience in a similar managerial role with proven experience in warehouse operations and transport
• Exhibit strong leadership skills, decision-making abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Precise, persistent, open to continuous learning and acquiring new knowledge, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills. Calm and confident communication style.
• Driving License: Required
• Native level Romanian and excellent German skills are essential. English language skills are a plus.
