Senior Engineer - Managed Services (R3753229)

The Managed Services team delivers customer success through the daily management and operations for GE software solutions. GE delivers value to customers across utilities and telecoms by delivering business outcomes underpinned by the Asset Management core products and applications.


The Managed Services Engineer cultivates relationships with a portfolio of customers in both pre-sales and project delivery and daily operational phases and provides objective advice and assistance on the strategy, structure, management and operations of a customer organization, in support of identified business purposes and objectives.

Required Qualifications

-Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering or other degree with relevant experience or equivalent level of experience (can be flexible) and /or 3-5 years’ experience working within an IT Support environment.
-Proven track record of problem analysis, identification and resolution
-Direct customer facing experience
-Flexibility to travel to customer site when required
-Fluent English speaker
-Open to work in a hybrid setting (1-2 days at the office/week)
-Proven competence and specialization to troubleshoot issues in at least 2 of the following domains:
-Cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
-Linux Operating Systems.
-Oracle, SQL or equivalent databases.
-Networking and Firewalls.
-Familiar with monitoring tools and technologies (SNMP, Elastic etc)
-Proven basic level of competence with Microsoft Operating Systems and the other non-specialized domains listed above.
