Reliability Validation Engineer

We are looking for a Reliability Validation Engineer to develop Qualification Test Plan requirements used during Qualification Testing (DV/PV). The plan considers both OEM and International Standards as well as prior lessons learned. When complete and approved the Qualification Test Plan serves as the definition of all the procedures and parameters for test.

The Reliability Validation Engineer assists the lab with testing excellence, defines the quantity and type of fixtures needed for tests and thus, designs, sources and releases fixtures for environmental testing.

Responsibilities:

• Support for test and product design / system architecture requirements into Qualification Test requirements (DV/PV level test plan for environmental and electrical tests);

• Support fot the project Qualification Test Plans and Test Flows to ensure testing meets the objectives for product expected life (durability) and reliability;
• Analyzes complex reliability statistics, interprets results, recommends modifications and testing leading to robust design and testing solutions;
• Seeks and implements opportunities to eliminate unnecessary/redundant testing;

• Clarifies information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data;
• Support for customer requirements (Technical Customer Support) and Enabling Services;
• Involved in the tasks necessary to resolve systemic problems and/or problem areas;

Qualifications:

• University studies ongoing/finished: Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering or related field;
• Experience with technical documents and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Project and Visio)
