Role description

As a Global Master Data Analyst, you will act as primary support of SAP data objects maintenance through operational tasks, such as: Profit Center, Cost Center, General Ledger, Internal Orders, etc. which will be done through single or bulk updates. The scope is extended to data cleansing, analysis, and reporting, as well as proactively improving and optimizing the processes and documentation.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain the SAP and other master data databases by creating, updating, and blocking data objects according to the operational tasks within SLA
• Prioritize and coordinate the completion of tasks
• Create/Update work instructions/documentation, offer training and support for other members of the team, when needed
• Work closely with the Data Quality Analysts in cleansing exercises, implement regular checks and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Support data integrity across systems and departments, data consistency across business processes, and assist in data governance initiatives
• Act as gatekeeper by enforcing the policies implemented and adhering to the standards setup. Proactively identify and implement new ones where needed

Role Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor Degree
• Job Knowledge (3 - 5 years)
• Experience with master data management processes and tools: SAP S/4HANA, MDG, ECC, as well as data integration with other systems: reporting, HR, and procurement systems (OneStream, Workday, Ivalua, SAP Concur, etc. - end to end data lifecycle)
• Experienced user in Finance MD maintenance, business partners, treasury, etc.
• Functional and business experience in any of the areas: P2P, OTC, R2R, Treasury, etc.
• Experience in data analysis, using tools like Excel, with the ability to automate using VBA, Macro and improve efficiency
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively work with cross-functional teams, business users, technical experts, and develop a best practice data creation, maintenance, and governance
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, adaptability to changing data requirements
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
