ETL Developer

Euro-Testing Software Solutions is a privately-owned software company specialized in Full-Service Software Testing, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Identification & Management, Application and Data Security, Static & Dynamic Code Analysis as well as, DevOps/DevSecOps, Robotic Process Automation, Implementation and Customization for Atlassian and Micro Focus (HPE) products.

- Experience with ETL processes and tools, preferably IBM DataStage or Informatica
- Experience with Data Warehouse concepts: Kimball methodology, slowly changing dimensions etc.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Experience with Linux operating system
- Very good communication skills and a great team player, motivated and self-driven

Nice to know:
- Python, other ETL tools, CI/CD pipelines, Versioning Tools

- Development of ETL flows using IBM DataStage 11.7 / Cloud Pak 4 Data an Oracle 21c
- Understand the Logical Data Model and Physical Data Model
- Understand the concepts and the business value of the data that is processed
- Integrate data from different source systems in the Information Warehouse
- Build Data Marts in alignment with the business needs
- Perform unit testing, validate data flows
- Prepare all ETL processes according to business requirements
- Contribute to deployment of code changes, mappings and metadata

- Experience: minimum 4-7 years of experience in a similar position
- Professional knowledge:
o Experience with ETL processes and tools (preferably DataStage/Informatica)
o Experience with Data Warehouse concepts
o Knowledge of SQL and databases
o Experience with Linux

As an ETL developer you will be working in a scrum squad consisting of a product owner, a scrum master, business analysis & technical analysis members, other ETL developers, QA and DevOps.
You will be responsible for integrating and loading data in the Romania Data Lake according to business requirements and for providing data to beneficiaries such as Finance, Risk, Customer Intelligence, as well as regulatory reporting. Maintaining the applications running in the Data Lake, including incident management and bug fixing, is also part of your job.
