As Archive Directory Architect, you will be Designing and implementing the structure of Active Directory domains, OUs, and group policies to meet the organization's requirements and security policies.

How You'll Make an Impact

Active Directory Design: Designing and implementing the structure of Active Directory domains, OUs, and group policies to meet the organization's requirements and security policies.

User and Group Management: Managing user accounts, groups, and security permissions to control access to network resources and ensure proper authorization levels.

Group Policy Management: Configuring and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings, software deployment, and other configurations across the network.

DNS and DHCP Configuration: Setting up and managing Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) to provide name resolution and IP address assignment.

Replication and High Availability: Configuring Active Directory replication to ensure data consistency across domain controllers and implementing measures for high availability.

Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS): Deploying and managing certificate services for secure communications within the domain.

Identity and Access Management (IAM): Implementing and maintaining IAM solutions to streamline user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access requests.

Security and Compliance: Ensuring Active Directory security, auditing, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Troubleshooting and Support: Resolving Active Directory-related issues, such as login problems, replication errors, and authentication failures.

Disaster Recovery Planning: Developing and testing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of Active Directory failures.

Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders, as well as documenting configurations and procedures for future reference.

What You Bring

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
• Understanding of Active Directory security principles and best practices.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Knowledge of IAM solutions, such as Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) or Azure AD.
• Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient Active Directory architectures.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex Active Directory issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Windows Server may be advantageous.
