Data Analytics Professional - Assurance (Internal Audit)

As a Data Analyst within our Internal Audit Department, you will be instrumental in supporting audit activities by using your analytical skills and data expertise. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with audit teams to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, with a specific emphasis on SAP systems. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a top-tier data professional to contribute significantly to our audit processes and improve our risk management capabilities.

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources, focusing on SAP systems, to support audit testing and analysis
• Collaborate with internal audit teams to understand audit objectives and identify data requirements, particularly within SAP environments
• Design and conduct sophisticated data-driven audit tests to assess the efficiency of internal controls, identify potential risks, and detect anomalies
• Apply advanced data analysis techniques and statistical methodologies to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets and support the Assurance Team to interpret and refine the results of the analytics provided
• Work closely with auditors to interpret data findings and effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Present key insights to stakeholders and management using advanced visualization tools and promote the data analytics capabilities to the Assurance team globally
• Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data throughout the analysis process
• Collaborate with the internal audit team to identify areas where data analytics can improve the efficiency of audit procedures and continuously enhance and optimize data analytics methodologies, ensuring they remain relevant, efficient, and aligned with standard processes.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong preference for expertise in SAP (ECC and S/4 Hana
• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Finance, Mathematic or a related field
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, Python or R.
• Solid understanding of data extraction techniques, data modelling, statistical analysis, and data visualization standard processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Solid project management skills and the ability to balance multiple assignments concurrently
• Good awareness of machine learning concepts to identify potential use cases
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with audit methodologies, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks is advantageous.
