A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Operational buyer you will be in charge of creating Request for Quotations, support the team on the price comparison and selection of suppliers, furthermore, after project is awarded to suppliers, you will support execution team to make sure they have full support from procurement on a daily task e.g. order new items that are missing, checking improvement on the delivery dates, being the bridge between suppliers and internal stakeholder (quality, supply chain and technology). On a yearly basis we need to prepare the supplier evaluation and development plan for the next year.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Prepare RfQ and documentation to award suppliers.
• Ensure supplier nominations are done on time and correctly.
• Maintain the tack of projects nominated, cost, and monitoring the share of wallet between suppliers.
• Data analysis
• Controlling cost
• Support the team to register new suppliers in the system (SAP / Ariba)
• Provide purchasing assistance to support design on cost reduction activities.

What You Bring

• The ideal candidate has experience of 2-5 years in direct material purchasing and/or supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related business administration area
• If you have experience with the business and our way of working, it will be an advantage.
• Strong sense or organization and keep control of the ongoing activities.
• team-player with the ability to work independently and geographically separate from other team members and key stakeholders in a global environment.
• Strong English at negotiation level both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of excel and Microsoft Office package.
• Experience in SAP/ Ariba is an advantage.
