Commercial and Project Controller

A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a Commercial and Project Controller to join our rapidly growing Grid Technologies Sales/Products business unit. In this role you will report to the Sub-Region Heads of Finance of SWE and NOR and will support project execution together with project managers in Norway.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Reporting and presentation of various business KPIs as and when required
• Developing and automating reporting requirements
• Analyzing data for business needs
• Preparing forecast and budget data for GT Products
• Dealing with Factories and HQ/Sub-Regions for commercial and financial topics
• Co-leading projects together with the PM in managing and optimizing targeted financial results, managing customer expectations and evaluating risk exposure in line with contractual terms
• Preparing commercial documentation and reports for regular project status meetings and ensuring the accuracy of commercial/financial project data
• You will support execution during project delivery which includes project/sales order creation and management in SAP system, payment applications, invoicing and accounts receivables reporting, FX hedging deals set ups and prolongations, guarantees management and reporting
• Ensures the accuracy of books and records and compliance with Siemens Energy FRGs and Local GAAP requirements

What You Bring

• University degree - financial qualification
• Few years of professional experience in Business Controlling and/or handling of projects
• Experience within a Finance and Commercial Functions
• Team player who can work successfully across multinational teams
• Strong communication skills
• English speaking
• Demonstrates ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good knowledge about SAP and MS Office tools, IT oriented
• Availability to travel, limited
• You have a hands-on attitude, you are proactive, dynamic and results-oriented, as well as collaborative and flexible
