A Snapshot of Your DayThe mission of our Electrical Engineer is to be responsible for the electrical systems and components in bid and execution projects. You will work on electrical sub systems / components like Industrial Heat Pumps, Waste Heat Recovery which covers: HV-, MV-, LV- and AC/DC-Switchgears, Load Lists, Batteries, Rectifiers, Inverters, DC-DC Converters, Diesel Generators, HV- and LV-transformers, generator circuit breaker, protection and grid interfaces.

How You'll Make an Impact

• You will need to drive innovation and new designs based on the technical background, within projects in the fields of industrial heat pumps, waste heat recovery or various new technologies.
• Review and commenting of Customer Request for Quotation and preparing of cost calculations
• Evaluation of EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) contract (Customer specification, etc.)
• Preparation of electrical layout/ concept and design/ calculation of electrical systems and components
• Preparation of the time schedule for the electrical scope of works
• Supervision of deadlines, quality, and costs for the electrical systems in charge
• Preparation of technical specifications and inquiry documentation
• You collaborate closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Participation in engineering and optimization of interfaces and scope of works
• Review of contractors engineering
• Supervision of contractor's time schedule and costs
• Coordination of electrical erection contractors with project and site requirements
• Trouble shooting

What You Bring

• Successfully completed college degree, preferably within the field of electrical engineering or equivalent combination of education in the field
• 2-6 years of experience in a project environment e.g., as member of an execution team in the role of project engineer in the power generation or Oil & Gas market
• Technical education or working experience in the fields of electrical engineering with knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Willingness for business travels with international contacts
• Work experience in a foreign country or exposure to international business is advantageous.

About The Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
Within our Gas Services Organization we work on customized solutions to support our Customer's to Decarbonize their Plants. Focus areas are Heat Decarbonization and Utilization of Waste Heat to increase the Plant efficiency and safe CO2 emissions.
