Client Accounting Senior Accountant with Hungarian for Cargo Hungary Team

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting
Degree in the field of accounting, finance and economics is a plus
Previous experience in working with ERP, preferably SAP FI module
Good accounting understanding
Previous working experience preferably in large/global organizations
Good technical knowledge of MS office
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Good attention to details
Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines
Willing to collaborate within a team in order to achieve common goals
Ability to understand multicultural environments
Previous experience with transitioning project(s) is considered an advantage
Self-motivation, quick learning and creative thinking
Very good English skills, and advanced Hungarian language level (min B2)

Processing incoming invoices and credit notes from suppliers, travel or miscellaneous expenses from employees, direct debit and other documents received in line with global process in an accurate and timely manner according to internal controls and metrics
Query handling (by phone and email) for dunning letters, missing invoices and payment advices received from suppliers in line with global process, in an accurate and timely manner according to internal controls and metrics.
Raise requests to update vendor master data (address, bank account, contact details, payment terms, etc) strictly following company security processes.
Perform postings of recurrent bookings, corrections, company credit card statements in line with global process in an accurate and timely manner according to internal controls and metrics.
Pay employees and vendors on time based on payment schedule with commitment on achieving 100% accuracy and quality – resolving immediately errors encountered during actual payment run, including SeMa ticket creation for Master Data related items
Other day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
Execute and document internal controls in support of audit team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality.
Support performance and process reviews, for internal and external customers by providing root cause analyses and preventive action plan.
Prepare financial statement and perform account maintenance
Perform bank Reconciliation including allocation and monitoring of reconciling items
Monitor the Intercompany clearing account balances and report issues if any. Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders to resolve the differences
