Azure Cloud Engineer

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer for our new cloud-native product. This offering is designed to provide our partners and customers with core Veeam products as cloud services. Built on top of Azure and AWS infrastructure, this solution will combine original products with cloud-native architecture and components using SaaS best practices from the Azure and AWS teams.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing application infrastructure using IaC principles
• Implementing and supporting delivery pipelines

Technologies we work with:

• IaC tools: Azure Bicep and ARM templates, AWS CloudFormation
• Azure services: API Management, Cosmos DB, Storage account, Azure Functions and Azure Durable Functions, Azure Container App, static website hosting, Azure Active Directory including AppsB2C and other services
• AWS services: API Gateway, ECS, RDS, DynamoDb, VPCs, Step Functions, Lambda, IAM, EC2, S3, and other services

What we expect from you:

• 3+ years of experience with cloud workloads for commercial products
• 1+ years of experience with Azure cloud applications development using Bicep ARM templates
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud components and experience in cloud architecture implementation (production workloads)
• Understanding of common cloud architecture principles (security by default, high availability, fault tolerance, etc.)
• Deep understanding of and experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
• English proficiency level sufficient to communicate with international teams

Will be an advantage:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., production workloads, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with other IaC tools (e.g.: TerraformTerragrunt)
• Knowledge of programming languages (preferably C# or other)
• Experience with migrating and adapting on-premises products to cloud infrastructure
