Digital Rendering Specialist - ALIAS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field. Additional certifications in Alias or relevant CAD software are a plus;
Proven experience as a Class A Alias Designer in automotive or product design;
Expertise in Alias software for Class A surfacing, along with proficiency in other design and visualization tools;
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving and maintaining high-quality surface finishes;
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements;
English – advanced.

Uses Alias software to create Class A surfaces for automotive design, ensuring precision and high-quality finishes;
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and refine design concepts, incorporating feedback to meet project requirements and design goals;
Performs thorough surface analysis and evaluation to achieve optimal quality of Class A surfaces, addressing any imperfections or irregularities;
Works closely with engineering and prototyping teams to ensure smooth translation of digital designs into physical prototypes, maintaining design integrity throughout the process;
Collaborates with industrial designers, engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints, ensuring alignment with design intent;
Implements rigorous quality control measures to validate and refine surfaces, ensuring they meet the highest standards for both visual and functional aspects;
Creates detailed documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, and surfacing data, to effectively communicate design intent with other team members.
