Software Development Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent university studies;
Minimum 2 years of experience in integrated automotive development;
Knowledge of C/C++ languages (Matlab/Simulink is a plus);
Knowledge of automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, etc.);
Requirements management (DOORS) and project management (RedMine tools);
Familiar with SPICE Automotive, ISISand AUTOSAR is a plus);
Knowledge of microprocessors and microcontrollers (Renesas/Freescale);
Knowledge of tools: CANape, CANoe, Green Hills Multi IDE, Tessy and debugging tools;
Familiarity with software configuration management tools (SVN, TortoiseSVN), defect tracking and peer review tools.

Develops, codes, integrates, tests (unit level) and debugs high quality embedded software from requirements and software architecture;
Prepares documentation on technical solutions, sw modules, problem descriptions, etc;
Participates in peer review of software requirements specifications, software architecture design and code review;
Supports the embedded software architect in the analysis of end customer requirements and DENSO Thermal Systems requirements;
Participates in software architecture design;
Performs unit testing of modules and performs debugging;
Ensures maintenance of delivered code;
Verifies that the code meets the metrics and thresholds reported in the appropriate plans (wrap level, cyclic complexity, comment density, etc.
