• Bachelor and/or Masters degree Computer Science, Automation Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable;
• At least 3-5 years of Cloud Architecture experience;
• Hands on experience with IaaC scripting language like Terraform / Pulumi;
• Hands on experience with Linux OS, including bash scripting;
• Passion for new technologies and proactive in exploring new trends;
• Able to prioritize tasks and work within the Agile/SCRUM methodology;
• Fluent in English both verbal and written;

Nice to have:

• Experience of working with distributed teams,
• Professional experience in the fields of cloud architecture and IT delivery models (I. E. IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, SDN, etc.),
• Any Cloud vendor certification.
• Experience with Data processes with Cloud (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, AWS S3, etc.)

We are currently looking for a "Cloud Architect" to work within our team.

As a Cloud Architect in the Engineering & Data Solutions department you will contribute on designing and building a cloud platform for connected mobility solutions, together with an internationally distributed team, in a hybrid working model. Become part of our team and contribute to the future of (e-)mobility sector!

In your role you will:

• Design and implement the building blocks for a Cloud platform using state-of-the-art approaches;
• Ensure compliancy with quality and standards (e.g. legal or IT-Security Frameworks);
• Make regular architecture review with respect to optimization potential, maintenance and operations;
• Maintain a direct and strong relationship with development teams and other stakeholders;
• Lead and collaborate in the development of Proof-of-concepts for cloud based mobility and data-driven services while respecting state-of-the-art paradigms (testability, re-use, architecture conformity etc.).
• Support delivery teams and apply improvements for infrastructure, pipeline, monitoring and logging systems;
• Promote best practices in a DevOps environment;
• Guide and mentor junior team members as well as contribute to technical on-boarding of new joiners;
• Become an active member of the international Powertrain cloud architects team and get involved in project reviews and concept creations.
