Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with focus preferably on economics
• +1 year of work experience
• Great sense of accuracy and being result oriented
• Attention to details, curious, problem-solving oriented
• Good time management skills and able to respect deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (Romanian and English)
• Good knowledge of MS Office (focus on Excel)
• No certification mandatory

• Assist international mobile individuals in complying with their personal income tax and social security obligations in Romania
• Works closely under the supervision of the senior consultant/manager when analyzing and determining the taxability treatment of various salary or salary assimilated items
• Prepare related compliance reports
• Look for and study the documentation underlying the relevant questions; use Deloitte standard methodologies and knowledge management resources
• Desire to serve clients and to deliver quality
• Manage more than one assignment / project at any given time.

Our Global Employer Services (GES) team provides our clients with advisory and compliance assistance in the field of individual income tax, social security, immigration and global mobility. We specialize in all areas of individual income tax and social security regime (salary related income, freelancing activities, investment income, rental, etc.) applicable be that for Romanian and foreign individuals, for local and non-resident employers or for any stakeholder party when paying and/or receiving income to/from an individual.
