B.skilled
University (Accounting, Business, Economic) degree and/or post-graduate education (CECCAR/ACCA is a plus)
Minimum 3-5 years of Accounting experience
Fiscal experience for Romania
Good understanding of accounting entries and principles
Able to cope with dynamic and high change environment
Takes ownership for responsibilities with a positive attitude
Detail oriented and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive self-starter, resourceful with strong work ethic
Solution-oriented and result-driven
Capable of working independently as well as working in a team

There will be many measures of success to the role, however, at a high-level they fall into the following key areas:
AP invoices monitoring and documents archive maintenance, including proper documentation for fiscal purposes. Balance reconciliation and validation for Local and US GAAP.
Travel and expenses documents review and follow-up with the employees. Ensure completeness and accuracy of the archived documents and maintain an updated procedure.
Cash needs monitoring and reporting of estimated cash flow on a regular basis
Process documents application for various GL accounts in order to maintain the open documents accurately as of month end
Provide support for fixed assets transactions, acquisition and depreciation and reconciliation between Local and US GAAP
Provide support for annual inventory process for all balance sheet items according to Local accounting rules.
Provide support for the monthly closing process for the CoE entity, including preparation of recurring and non-recurring journal entries, like, prepayments, documentation of AP/AR ledger accounts, detailed supporting analysis and relevant documentation, in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP and compliance with both internal and external requirements.
Work closely with Procurement, Accounting teams and external partners to ensure recorded accounting entries have proper supporting documentation that are in compliance with local statutory requirements related to VAT, WHT, CIT and that are accurately reflected in the statutory financial statements
Provide support for the various statutory compliance filings for the CoE, including
statutory financial statements, corporate tax returns, statistical reports, and other local statutory filings.
Provide support with external and internal audits, to ensure audits are completed timely and accurately.
Create, maintain and update procedures and work instructions for all activities performed
Participate in implementation of region initiatives and projects. Support global accounting or broader projects.
Identify and solve issues in direct work to benefit the whole team.
Be a team player and work collectively to adapt to change to our dynamic work environment.
