Senior Java Developer (m/f/o)

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer that is willing to be a part of our team and work for one of our clients.

We want to achieve a high level of performance and quality while delivering service excellence and business value to our stakeholders.

Start date: 27/Feb/23
End Date: 31/Dec/23

Required skills:

• Experience with J2E, WebSphere, Spring Boot
• Experience with good source control concepts and tools (Git or similar)
• Knowledge of a testing library: jUnit or similar
• Good understanding of DevOps strategies
• Good command of English
• Team player person looking to engage and work closely with peers, stakeholders etc.

Nice to have skills:

• Understanding of SQL/NoSql database design and usage
• Experience of GraphQL
• Experience with IBM Cloud services such as App ID, Db2, Redis
• Container knowledge (eg Docker)
• Container orchestration (eg Kubernetes, ideally OpenShift)
• ·Experience in delivering AGILE projects
• Spring, REST API Design knowledge is also appreciated.

Job responsibilities:

• Build professional software applications following coding standards, build appropriate
unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts
• Engage with various project stakeholders and share research/ development findings and
results.
• Participate in code reviews
