University degree (BA and/or MA) in Law, International Relations or other relevant discipline, and relevant professional experience, especially in public and humanitarian policy analysis;
2-4 years’ previous professional experiences, for instance in the field of social/political/economic science or similar;
Experience with governmental agencies and/or international organizations is an asset;
Full computer proficiency;
Full professional fluency in English, Ukrainian or Russian;
Good command (spoken and written) of Romanian language;
Experience working directly with people on the ground with projects;
Good analytical and reporting skills;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural setting;
Ability to travel within Romania;
Fair knowledge of International Humanitarian Law;
Experience as interpreter will be an asset.

Implementing and monitoring the organization's protection activities in Romania;
Supporting the documentation of the humanitarian concerns that people face in Ukraine through interviews with refugees in Romania;
Helping refugees to restore or maintain family links with their loved ones, including collecting information and searching for those that may have gone missing because of the conflict, or due to migration;
Supporting protection activities in Romania and ensuring appropriate follow-up of individual cases;
Supporting the organization's outreach strategy related to protection activities;
Contributing to the implementation of Protection of Civilian Population (PCP) activities;
Supporting the protection family links (PFL) activities;
Ensuring interpretation from and to Ukrainian and/or Russian in the frame of the protection activities and possibly support other activities for interpretation and/or translation;
Contributing to monitoring of the humanitarian environment and protection related activities in Romania for analysis and follow up;
Carriyng out collection, processing and analysis of data, relevant to the organization protection activities;
Contributing to the assessment and identification of priority protection issues;
Actively contributing to defining key protection messages and operational priorities;
Preparing, participating in, and reporting on all aspects of field activities and ensuring related follow-up;
Participating to interviews with people affected by the conflict in Ukraine or by any people in need (with regards to their protection concerns and needs);
Contributing to developing and maintaining the network of stakeholders involved in protection-related issues at local level.
