Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent;
• 1-2 years of experience in Java development; knowledge of relevant Java Open Source Frameworks (Hibernate, Struts, Spring); knowledge of Web Development (JSP, GWT, HTML, Javascript and related technologies);
• Knowledge SQL
• Solution-oriented and structured way of working; abstraction and understanding of processes;
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting;
• Communication skills and team orientation;
• Creative problem solving;
• Good command of English both spoken and written; Italian would be a plus.
• Open-minded, structured and result oriented personality;
• Willing to learn new things;
• Problem solving approach, quick learner;
• Abstraction and understanding of processes;
• Execution & discipline: maintains a clear focus and sees action through to delivery;
• Energetic, determined, positive, goal focused and consistent under pressure and tight deadlines.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Provides full implementation of standard application solutions to the given standards;
• Testing and maintenance of software;
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation;
• Works both on maintenance and change environments;
• Employs open, frequent, and proactive communications with Development team, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other members of the project team;
• Quality management & continuous improvement.
