The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic #tech projects.

Proven experience of leading and inspiring teams. Leading by example.
Demonstrable experience of implementing good engineering practices and standards.
Strong experience in team management, headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, mentoring.
Worked within agile and DevOps environments
Proactive, organized, strong time management and planning skills.
Problem solving, combining analytical skills as well as thorough attention to detail.
Good articulated communicator and presenter, able to efficiently convey messages to stakeholders at all level of seniority. Able to translate technical concepts into business terms to get the understanding/buy-in from non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent spoken and written English
At least 5 years’ experience in a Manager or Team Lead role.
Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline

Lead multi-disciplinary teams developing the new F&M platform from requirements to production
Develop and foster a culture of high engineering standards, innovation and learning through the creation of a “Community of Practice”
Collaborate closely with other managers to identify and drive improvements to productivity, efficiency, and technical excellence across the teams
Define and implement standards, best practices, and metrics
Take the lead on managing engineering practice, providing clear planning, and reporting
Develop high performing teams through appropriate recruitment, training & development of individuals
Offer effective line management, coaching and support across the team
Engaging with stakeholders, to define the right organization and staffing.
Line management of technical leaders, including performance monitoring, training plans, recruitment, motivation, engagement, one to ones, annual objectives.
Deliver efficient and sustainable development support activities, in-line with agreed SLAs.
Work with the Scrum Masters, Head of Engineering, Head of Product to ensure the agile teams work within, and use efficiently, agile practices.
Ensure new features are not only functionally fit for purpose, but also secure, reliable, performant as well as straightforward to operate, configure and support.
Organize knowledge sharing within the teams as well as outside the team (other departments).
Train team members with either internal or external courses as required.
Ensure critical security related training is delivered to all relevant team members
Keep up to date with latest development technologies and methodologies.
