    For one of our clients, a well-known innovative brand that is loved around the world for its insanely versatile and enabling products, we are looking for an enthusiastic HR People Operations Lead to join their team for a determined period of 2 years (maternity cover).

    The role involves People Operations management and you will be responsible for understanding, maintaining, and communicating the company's policies, programs, and infrastructure that support its people and culture.

    Skills that recommend you:

    Solid knowledge of labor law, occupational health and safety, and local compliance requirements;
    Previous solid experience with a tax exemption for technical positions;
    Good knowledge of local HR practices and principles;
    Highly efficient communication skills, able to interact at various levels of the organization, from individual contributors to upper management;
    Very good change management skills – plans and implements changes to obtain the best results both for the business and for the involved teams or individuals;
    Excellent English skills;
    Very good presentation skills - able to present information in a clear manner and properly communicate information, both written and verbal, towards all involved parties;
    Excellent writing skills and ability to make updates and changes as needed;
    Strong time management skills and ability to make judgment calls;
    Always behaves with high integrity – acts as a role model for team members;
    Essential technical skills: HRIS (preferably Workday), Excel, Word, SharePoint, or another wiki;
    Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously
    Superior attention to detail and proven ability to create organized processes
    Ability to work collaboratively with remote leadership and establish strong relationships within all levels of an organization

    Work well in a highly collaborative environment and open to giving and receiving feedback
    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
    Ability to lead and conduct meetings, gather status, and make decisions.

    Agility and flexibility to adapt to business needs.


    You will be involved in:

    Resolving routine HR requests;
    Ensuring compliance with local requirements of labor legislation, labor protection, and occupational health and safety;
    Responsible for Health & Safety (Authorized Signatory and H&S certified);
    Own New Hire Orientation processes, including employee experience and manager resources;
    Partner with EMEA People Team in maintaining systems standards, internal and external documentation of People Operations processes, and GoPro brand and culture across multiple office locations;
    Prepare termination paperwork and work with HR Business Partners for successful off-boarding in Romania, Germany, and the UK;
    Document and maintain country-specific guidelines for HRBPs and People Team;
    Partner with local vendors and brokers for successful People Operations programs while also maintaining existent relationships;
    Manage location-specific processes such as benefits renewal processes, tax exemption processes, Handbook reviews, Employee Representatives processes and quarterly CSSM meetings, and Employees for a Cause program;
    Support business leaders with change management processes and employer branding initiatives;
    Partner with the People Operations team and Business Partner on employee needs;
    Follow documented processes and provide backup support for People Operations daily, weekly and monthly processes outlined on the wiki.
