    This role functions as the primary compensation lead for Veeam Romania. Serves as the subject matter expert and advisor on compensation issues for HRBPs in Romania and their respective HR Partnership teams. Will drive successful completion of all major processes in Romania from benchmarking, annual compensation review, short and long-term incentive planning, and retention schemes.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports on the key recurring major initiatives: annual compensation review, short term and long-term incentive planning and payout, and global benchmarking
    • Acts as the key partner to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, testing our thinking on plan design, linkage to talent and business strategy, research and modeling, and communications and rollout strategies
    • Functions as the lead compensation partner for Romania. Works with respective HR teams on day-to-day compensation issues, job leveling, offer development, car allowances, retention schemes, and all other compensation issues
    • Partners closely with organizational development leaders in the talent assessment process and link rewards decisions to that process.
    • Will drive effective delivery of major processes looking to streamline efficiency and best use of technology, including working to automate the processes in either our Workday System or Secure Sheet
    • Prepare analytics, dashboards, financial modeling to support new compensation programs, changes to existing programs, and effective communications and rollout into the regions the role supports.

    Requirements

    Key Success Factors:

    • Ability to scale as a strategic adviser and consultant to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards and working closely with various HR teams and peers across major program delivery and tactical day to day issues
    • Work with TA team to be a flexible, innovative partner and SME on offers. Strong ability to work with TA leaders in each region to drive competitive acquisition of talent
    • Top notch user interface, easy to work with, good thinker and planner. Strong on execution and communication
    • Ability to prioritize work, focus and multi-task
    • Self-starter, resourceful, good networker, and willing to socialize plans and agendas well.
    • Thinks in possibilities and is open-minded and collaborative.

    • Strong ability to balance process discipline, best practices in compensation with the need to be flexible, innovative, and see the solution to the business needs

    Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree, Business/Finance/Economics type degree
    • Solid progressively responsible work experience
    • Experience in software, or other high-tech industry with growth oriented, transformative, unstructured work environments
    • Workday exposure is a plus
    • Expert in Excel and Powerpoint
    • Experience with global benchmarking/market pricing and leveling of roles
    • Some equity compensation, sales compensation, incentive compensation background is also a plus
