The Business Process Analyst role will support the Technology Change Strategy Centre of Excellence to deliver global and cross functional Operational Excellence initiatives aligned to the strategic objectives of LSEG and support in the development of Centre of Excellence activities in Group Technology

Job Description
The Business Process Analyst role will support the Technology Change Strategy Centre of Excellence to deliver global and cross functional Operational Excellence initiatives aligned to the strategic objectives of LSEG and support in the development of Centre of Excellence activities in Group Technology
Role & Responsibilities
The Technology Centre of Excellence activities requires a business process analyst to help discover, document, and design the business processes and make recommendations of improvements or to simplify way of working. The business process analyst will work with business managers of the relevant groups to ensure that their organizations are designed to successfully implement and operate these processes. There are frequent changes in Technology environment and implementing robust processes to manage these changes is critical to the successful and compliant operation of our business. The business process analyst will work with the relevant business process owners, business managers and CoE Team to:
- Analyse desired business outcomes and identify key process steps and control points
- Assists with obtaining, tracking, and maintaining information from multiple sources for delivery of a correction data flow for workforce data, or other reconciliations of data may be needed
- Facilitate process discovery / design workshops
- Document processes using process maps and business requirements documents
- Quantitatively identify process bottlenecks or inefficiencies
- Recommend new process designs to process owners and other key stakeholders
- Recommend opportunities to improve organisational efficiency and control
- Identify opportunities where tools can support or simplify business processes
- Work with the relevant tool owners to create appropriate sets of requirements
- Support the Business Managers in ensuring ongoing compliance with the LSEG Change framework and reporting requirements
- Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
- Supports the Technology COO Change Strategy, Director Delivery Management CoE in regular reports needed, reviews of the KPIs or other activities
Key skills / attributes:
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Ability to process and filter large sets of data points
- Experience of documenting and designing business processes
- Ability to analytically challenge the status quo
- Good communication skills
- Strong personal organisational skills with ability to plan activities within tight deadlines
- Strong problem solving, identifies and resolves issues in a timely manner
- Ability to effectively deal with ad hoc reporting requests
- Excel - intermediate level
- Knowledge of PowerPoint in will be a plus
