Tendering & Procurement Engineer

• BA in Civil Engineering
• Skills: time management, multitasking, communication, motivation, team work, reliability
• Very good knowledge of English
• Mandatory compliance with Tendering procedures and high Ethics standards
• Proven experience in the construction sector
• Proven experience with applicable standards in the construction sector (quality, safety, environment)
• Specific PC programs knowledge (AutoCad, Microsoft Project, etc.)

• Review and prepare thorough documentation for construction projects Tender phase
• Review and propose technical solutions according to the Project objectives, always seeking for innovative approaches and new building technologies and materials
• Sort Projects by categories of work and submit price offer requests to the suppliers and to the subcontractors
• Negotiate the subcontractor and supplier offers, including evaluation and negotiation of payment terms
• Prepare price comparisons for all categories of works
• Elaborate and optimize lists of quantities for specific works and materials according to project objectives and technical solutions
• Elaborate execution timelines according to project objectives and technical estimations
• Solve and clarify, from technical point of view, all information during the Tender phase
• Continuous analysis of construction market from technical and financial point of view
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Negotiate continuously the active contracts
• Evaluate and negotiate prices for all categories of projects which are in the execution phase
• Update continuously the database and the technical knowledge
