    Requirements

    Required skills & profile

    3+ years' experience in an environment using Agile methodologies (Scrum preferable)
    2+ years’ experience as Scrum Master
    Experience of using Agile across at least two teams using appropriate elements of an Agile scaling framework
    Minimum Agile certification of either PSM, CSM, DASM, PMI-ACP, etc
    Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
    Technical background it's a plus
    Excellent English speaking and writing skills

    Core skills:

    Significant experience of at least one, ideally two Agile frameworks and associated methods.
    Able to communicate “why Agile” as well as “how to do Agile”.
    Pragmatic/Agnostic Agile: selects methods and techniques best suited to context always in the context of people over process over tool.
    Experience of scaling Agile WoW across at least two teams using appropriate elements of an Agile scaling framework such as Disciplined Agile, Nexus, LeSS and/or SAFe.
    Able to shift from Servant Lead to Leader when initial or follow-up direction is needed to kickstart changes to working patterns or learned behaviour.
    Use specific tools and techniques to foster and maintain engagement
    Close working with Product Owner and Product Manager to curate a backlog of options for potential commitment to deliver.
    Ability to challenge and push back to defend the team to ensure focus remains on the safe delivery of value.
    Experience of working in a DevOps environment is nice to have.

    Responsibilities

    Job description and key responsibilities

    Promoting Ways of Working (WoW) inside Scrum teams enabling the completion of Sprint Goals to deliver incremental customer value.

    Key result areas

    Defines and delivers against Sprint Goals towards quarterly team-level Programme Increments.
    Embeds good Agile practices and associated WoW at team, department and company level

    Key tasks

    Performs the role of Scrum Master across up to two teams.
    Adopts appropriate Agile frameworks, methods and techniques tailored to the context of the team.
    Undertakes continuous/regular improvements, agrees measurements and tracks progress towards improvement.
    Undertakes Agile Planning techniques focused on incremental delivery of customer value with team, Product Owner, Product Manager and other valued stakeholders.
    Helps create excellent collaboration between the Product Owners and the Development Team
    Coach and guide development teams on how to get the most out of self-organization and Agile practices.
    Facilitates communication across all team members

    Reporting line

    The Scrum Master reports to the Software Engineering Manager and the Agile Lead.
